16 Separate Lights in a Straight Line.
Location of Sighting: North of Salem, Oregon
Date of Sighting: August 20, 2022
Time of Sighting: 9:45 PM PDT
Description: I saw this too, North of Salem, OR, USA at 9:45 PM on Aug. 20, 2022. It was clearly over 16 separate lights in a straight line, with the brightest at each end. They were far above commercial air traffic, and quiet. They were moving NE much faster than the rotation of the earth. The line appeared to be 1 to 5 miles long, depending on distance. I watched for 2 minutes before it started turning dark red, then darkening beginning at the leading end, when it appeared to vanish behind something. There were no clouds visible. It was a clear night with many stars around it.
