5 Star-Like Objects Move East in Procession.

Location of Sighting: Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada
Date of Sighting: April 27, 2021
Time of Sighting: 10:25 PM PDT

Description: I was showing my wife the big dipper and Polaris last night when I notice a star moving east in the same area, and pointed it out to her. At first I thought it was a comet, but it had no tail and moved east at a constant rate (much too fast for an aircraft) and did not snuff out like a comet. I also think it went too fast for a satellite.

As we watched it disappear another one emerged also from the west and proceeded east on the same path as the first star. We continued to observe as three more stars came and went on the same path, going the same direction at the same speed. Numbers 2 and 3 were travelling at about the same distance apart as numbers 4 and 5. In less that 30 seconds all were gone over the horizon in the night sky. There was no blinking or noise. The trajectory of the arc of travel, was like a rainbow falling off in the east. This made me think they were much higher than air craft.

Note: The witnesses may have seen Star-Link communication satellites, but generally there are more in a group. Groupings of 20 to 50 are common.
