Long Oval Lime Green Glowing Object Abruptly Vanishes.

Time of Sighting: 8:30 PM CDT
Description: This happened to me 7 days ago. I was driving in Elgin Texas headed towards Taylor (about a 15 minute drive to home). There was a thin blanket of clouds and it was about 8:30 PM. I look out my side window to see almost directly above me a long oval lime green glowing object. It was slowing moving forward and just right above the very first layer of thin cloud cover (like as if I were seeing it through a piece of lace or something). I had four kids in the car. I said loudly “what is that? What is that?” The two that were sitting on my side of the van looked and were able to see it, too. My 13 year old pointed to it. Then, out of nowhere, it just disappeared. It like, vanished. I don’t know if it took off going upward really fast, or if it legitimately just became invisible and left. I can’t stop thinking about it. It seemed way larger than an airplane for sure.
