Long Silver Objects Streak Silently Across Road.

Time of Sighting: 1 PM MST
Description: I saw something strange yesterday around 1:00 PM. A long-ish silver object came streaking across the road about 200 yards in front of me at just over tree top height. At first I thought it was a drone, but quickly dispelled that as it had no wings. There were no rotors and it made no noise. I turned right on a street to follow it, but it was way far from me by then. Suddenly three other weird things came out of nowhere to join it. They were smaller, round-ish and also silent. They formed a perfect straight line formation and disappeared into the distance in an instant. What could that have been?
