Object Brighter Than Venus Moves With Stars.

Location of Sighting: Hoquiam, Washington
Date of Sighting: June 26, 2022
Time of Sighting: 4 to 5 AM PDT

Description: I live directly west of Olympia, WA. I saw the crescent moon rise with Venus to my right (towards the South). Then looking farther right (towards the South) and upwards, I could see the star Hamal (very orange) and then towards the South, Mars and Jupiter (a tree blocked Saturn). But between Hamal and Mars, there was a very bright object–brighter than Venus and (through binoculars) having that highly reflective “flashlight type” look that Venus has. What could this object be? It was brighter than Venus. It kept it’s position with the other stars and planets for over an hour, behaving like a celestial body (as opposed to satellite, plane) but who knows. I am also inquiring at other sites (which are hard to find to report things). Briefly mention that in April 2018, near the Big Dipper, I was in Colorado when I saw a star become very bright for several minutes then dim way down. Do any of you have any thoughts, insights? Thank you!

Note: The witness appears to know his astronomy and makes a good argument that the object was not a star or planet.
