Number of UFO(s), including the Color(s), Size(s) and Shape(s): appeared to be one, larger craft, approximately 30 – 50 ft in length. appeared to be ball shaped or oval shaped. appeared to be silver/metallic in color. left a vapor trail or smoke trail estimated at 1000 ft in length.
The object started abruptly, then stopped in mid air or otherwise made an abrupt 90 degree turn from a south to north trajectory to a west to east trajectory, not a curved turn like you would see in an aircraft, but a stop and go hard right turn.
It did not change altitude As it made the turn, the vapor trail behind it began to disburse and the “ball” became diffuse or hidden by an expanding vapor trail, then eventually disappeared. Just before the turn, two gold colored balls, dropped out behind the mail object.
They fell about 100 -150 ft down and to the rear of the main object, then hovered an thereafter maintained their position in relation to the main object. As the main object moved out to seaward, the smaller objects followed, then all three diffused or dissolved into or were obscured by vapor. The trail/vapor lingered for several minutes then dissipated.
Distance of UFO(s) in sky: estimate 1000 – 4000 ft, but left a vapor trail like a jet at a much higher altitude.
Direction of Travel for UFO(s): From South to North along the Mickler beach area, then hard right turn to the East.
Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): No other object or clouds on a clear sunny late afternoon.
