Star-Like Object Moves Straight, Zigzags.

Time of Sighting: 10:30 PM EDT
Description: I was out on the deck with my mom. She looks up and exclaims what is that? That star is moving look at it! I look straight up and sure enough I see what appears to be a star, and it is clearly moving. It would go in a straight line a short distance then zig zag and change directions. It would get brighter and dimmer. Sometimes it stopped completely. We watched it move around above us for an hour. I felt like it knew we were watching it. When planes came near it, that’s when it did other things, almost like it was trying to disguise itself like another plane. Like it lit up different lights only when a plane was near. We saw a red light and a bright blue for only for a few seconds. At one point it looked like it was going to follow the plane, then it circled back over top us. It moved similar to the way a drone camera would. At one point it seemed to shoot straight upwards away from earth at great speed, but it lowered itself again the same way. When it lit other lights it seemed to shake and almost looked triangular, but only for a second. My mom was seeing it move exactly the same as I did. Every time it changed direction, she saw it too. Every time it brightened or dimmed she saw it too. When it flashed a different color light, she saw it too. It made no noise. After an hour of watching, we went inside. I did some google searches and discovered many descriptions exactly like this but no one knows what it is. At 12:30 AM I went out again but it was gone.
