Stationary Silvery, Metallic Shimmering Object in Blue Sky.

Time of Sighting: 1:10 PM EST
Description: A stationary silvery, metallic, shimmering (like mirrors reflecting light) object revealed itself in a clear, blue, sunny sky over my home at approximately 1:10 PM. I was sitting on the deck of my home with two of my pets at the time. This object appeared to be at an altitude of approximately 25,000 feet. It would fade out and reappear frequently every minute or so. When reappearing it remained in the same location. It remained stationary during the entire time period. It shimmered & reflected a silvery glowing constantly. Two fighter jets possibly from a nearby South Carolina Naval Air Station flew by and were close to this object, but did not engage it. The jets were at a higher altitude, maybe 35,000 feet plus. It may have been unseen by the pilots or radar? Fighter jets routinely fly over Hinesville just about on a daily basis. This possible UFO sighting lasted for a duration of about 10 to 15 minutes. I had no camera available to photograph this object.
Note: The witness could have seen a high altitude balloon, but there is no data to support this assertion.
